Apprentice Violations - CA Labor Code 1777.7

Let's talk about apprenticeship violations... If the Labor Commissioner determines after an investigation that a contractor knowingly violated section 1777.5, up to $100 for each full calendar day of non compliance will be the penalized. Continue to not comply with apprenticeship requirements and you could be penalized up to $300 for each calendar day of non compliance.

These penalties add up quickly especially on lengthy projects.

To stay compliant, it's important to understand the documentation involved, including California DAS 142 requirements for apprentice dispatch requests.

Stay informed and up to date with your project's apprenticeship requirements to stay compliant!
